My 3rd pair of KH Pulse gloves in 10 years (though the first fingerless one). All very different iterations of a same product. While the quality went down between my first and second pair, the quality of this one is (at least looks) outstanding.
Better padding on the palm, better (stronger) wrist support.
I can't tell how long this one will last as I've just had them for a week.
I still have (and used until I bought this one) one of my 10 year old glove (lost the other one) and it's only now starting to degrade (fabric thinning to holes), while my second pair from a model 2 or 3 years after that had its seams failing after a few months. (Posted on 15/04/2016)
These seem to give good protection for the wrist and for scuffs on the palm. However, I'm not sure whether they protect against scaphoid injury or broken wrist. I get the impression these are different things and the cheap plastic double layer alternatives may protect the scaphoid better, as they have a hard layer on the palm. I wish manufacturers would tell you what the product does, but no one seems to. Bizarre. They are comfortable, but take a bit of getting on and off with all the velcro adjustments. One annoyance was that they left blue stains on my hands after the first use - perhaps sweat leaching colour out of the material. (Posted on 09/05/2015)
