This is the big brother of the Eclipse unicycle. An all-out, top end freestyle unicycle that is designed to withstand the rigors of freestyle tricks. The frame is designed to fit a hub with the standard 100mm bearing spacing and can also take a tyre up to 2.5" wide. This frame is a step forward from the Nimbus X frame that is loved by so many all over the world, but now made from aluminum so is considerably lighter. The Equinox frame also has an ovalized crown which gives you a larger surface area on which to place your feet when doing any one foot or stand up skills. This frame also has the same rein- enforcement insert at the top of the crown giving extra rigidity and strength. Coupled with the super strong 20" Dominator II rim you have one strong freestyle unicycle.
If you require a specific length frame please just ask, as we can cut and slot you a frame to any length.

I have ever ridden. Very nice, well done Roger! The 400mm long neck
frame is perfect for me, looks like it was custom built for my leg
length. I guess that means most people will be opting for the 300mm
length. I wonder how hard it would be to cut the 400mm one down nicely,
say if someone wanted a 370mm long neck frame?
I usually ride with 125mm cranks so was not sure how I would find 100mm
and wondered about swapping them out. I'm glad I didn't, 100mm make for
very smooth pedalling and I didn't notice any loss in control or torque.
I did notice it was much easier to zoom around the hall at speed,
zipping in and out of places. The unicycle feels much lighter than my
ancient nimbus II long neck and is very responsive to ride.
I am impressed with the grifter tyre. It has a lovely tread pattern for
gliding and wheel walking, while still having plenty of bounce if you
are wanting to get airborne.
The saddle feels nice and comfy and is easy to get in and out of seat
out skills. The contours on the handle have been changed for the better
since I last got a nimbus gel saddle. The new shape feels much nicer on
I like the frame and it works well for one foot skills.
Overall, a very good uni. (Posted on 04/10/2016)
